Welcome Ministry Leaders!
I started to work in ministry when I was in my twenties. I had just graduated from undergrad and was looking for a reason to get involved with the church again. So I offered to help out in the Sunday School as their secretary. At the time, the current superintendent needed a little help in keeping organized.
From there I learned the ropes and over the next several years worked my way up to being Sunday School Superintendent. I managed a program with 80 students with probably as many volunteers helping with different areas of the program. But here is what is key...
I was a volunteer!!!
That's right, this was not a paid position. So many of the roles I have had since then haven't been. I know that it can be lonely and hard to build ministries when you are a team of one (or leading a team of people who are looking to you for ideas). This can be even more difficult if it is not an area you are familiar with, like events or online ministries. But where can you go for help and support?
I'm here to help!
So why continue to go it alone? Here I want to help volunteers generate ideas that will help your ministries grow. I want to provide you with tools, resources, and templates that you can easily plug in (or modify) to fit your needs! My prayer is that we develop a community where we can all help each other out because at the end of the day we all have the same goal, to share the love of Jesus!
